transducers for bipolar measurement of high DC currents |

 Complementing
LEM’s range of products for advanced battery management
applications, the new DH family of DC current transducers offers precise
measurement of bipolar currents up to 2000A. Measuring only 174 x 86 x
54.1 mm, these compact split-core transducers combine Hall-effect
technology and signal conditioning in a single housing with a large
rectangular sensing aperture for non-contact measurement (supporting up
to 104 x 40 mm busbars or 40 mm cables). The DH series has been
designed to measure DC currents and their polarity. It offers a choice
of primary current measurement ranges from 500A to 2000A and provide an
absolute accuracy better than 1 percent of the nominal current value.

 Dependable
and stable detection of PET bottles – even those with thin walls and
complex shapes – is easy to achieve with the new-generation E3ZM-B
sensors from OMRON Electronics. Combining innovative AC3 feedback
and P-opaquing sensing technologies, the new retro-reflective sensors
are easy to set up, and operate reliably without the need for regular
adjustment, even in areas where dust and other contaminants are present.
Ordinary photosensors depend on changes in light intensity for target
detection but, with PET bottles, the change is only a few percent. This
makes the sensors hard to set up, and they are prone to drift out of
adjustment if the operating conditions change. In contrast, the P-opaquing
technology of the new OMRON E3ZM-B sensors measures the polarisation of
the light beam, which typically changes by 75% when a PET bottle enters
the beam. This makes E3ZM-B sensors easy to set up – after installation,
the user simply presses a button with no target in place, and the sensor
automatically sets the optimum switching threshold. ... |

Thermo-Technik GmbH: The temperature measuring system TC100 can be
used almost in all domains thanks its large measurement range of -200°C
up to 1200°C. The convenience of this system, plug the USB connector and
start the B+B ITS-View Software, release immensely the process of
measurement. Each device possesses a unique address, so that the
simultaneous use of several TC100 systems on one PC/Laptop is possible
without any further installation. The measured data can be easily
exported to other processing programs such as Excel or MathCAD. The
accuracy in the temperature range between -30°C to 200°C is better than
±0.5 °C and lies by ±1,5 °C in the remaining measurement range. The

Kistler offers the ideal solution for measuring the cavity
pressure for parts with very stringent optical and finish requirements.
These sensors are placed behind the wall of the cavity in the mold
structure or in the die, where they measure the compression strain of
the steel induced by the cavity pressure.
This mounting location away from the surface of the cavity also avoids
influencing the temperature field near the surface of the mold.
Measurement of cavity pressure for injection molded optical parts such
as lenses or light guides, and moldings with class A finishes for the
