New RH / T
Transmitter with interchangeable probes – EE22 |
| |
 |
E+E Elektronik has designed the humidity /
temperature transmitter EE22 with interchangeable probes. |
|
|
The calibration data is stored in
the probes, and the most significant feature of the EE22 Series is the
interchangeable sensing probes with connector, which allows the
performance of the EE22 to not be affected.
The accuracy over the entire temperature range is based on precise
calibration methods. Well-proven E+E humidity sensor elements ensure
excellent long-term stability. |

PCT18: a Pressure and
Temperature Sensor |
| |
 |
June 13th, 2005 - CITY SENSORS S.A., a French company specialized
in the design and manufacturing of Ceramic Pressure Sensors, launches
the PCT18, a dual Pressure and Temperature Sensor with a Platinum probe
for installations on board industrial machines and processes. |
|
|
Pressure ranges start from 1 to 600 bar Full Scale, whilst the
Temperature Range extends from – 25 to + 125°C. Its purely inert ceramic
membrane can face most of the aggressive media. |

Sensortechnics announces
low-cost pressure transmitters for demanding industrial applications |
| |
|
The new MLH pressure transmitters from Honeywell, represented in Europe
by Sensortechnics, offer low-cost pressure measurement from 50 to
8000 psi (4 to 600 bar). MLH sensors use the latest in ASIC technologies
and deliver a total typical accuracy of ±1 % full scale. |
|
|
The very attractive price level, especially for high volume
applications, results in an excellent price/performance ratio. The MLH
series can be used with a wide variety of industrial pressure media due
to the all welded sensor cell. This eliminates all internal elastomeric
seals which must otherwise be specifically adapted to the pressure
media. |

Incredibly precise edge
detection - position measurement with low hysteresis |
| |
 |
The brand-new edge detector ST 3000 operates with the precision of a
fraction of a human hair. This high-resolution, compact and
error-detecting edge detector identifies the front and back edges of
objects by determining the shadow cast. |
|
|
Another feature is the integration of sensor and evaluation electronics
in one housing. The detector is able to define exactly the position and
size of objects, to measure lengths and to determine time and speed. The
resolution is better than 15 µm. Further highlights include the position
measurement with low hysteresis and the detection of transparent objects. |

Small, but watch out! - The
BS30 Vision Sensor |
| |
|
The world’s smallest image processing sensor has now been introduced to
the market in the form of wenglor’s vision sensor. This compact
masterpiece allows for image processing in sensor format. Up to 300
images per second are processed by the miniature sensor – the ideal
solution for your fastest application! |
Good packaging is half the battle! Its compact, miniature design makes
the wenglor vision sensor the smallest device far and wide in the field
of image processing. With dimensions of just 30 x 35 x 36 mm, it
requires only minimal space and can be ideally adapted to any image
processing system. |

US healthcare giant places US$5.7m dental CCD order with e2v |
| |
US-based Dentrix Dental
Systems, part of the Henry Schein Inc. healthcare group, has placed a
US$5.7m (£3.0m) dental CCD order with e2v technologies. This is for the
continued supply of digital intra-oral dental X-ray sensors, delivery of
which will commence in June 2005. The CCDs are to be incorporated by Dentrix into their ImageRAYi digital X-ray imaging system and will be
used to capture dental patient X-rays. |
